CHINT Green Energy powers Denmark’s renewable future with four high-performance solar plants for BEGREEN. Engineered for maximum efficiency, durability, and seamless grid integration.

About project
CHINT Green Energy is executing the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) works for four photovoltaic plants in Denmark: Barmosen, Bregentved, Vildbjerg, and Unibrew.
The projects feature high-efficiency monocrystalline Astronergy PV modules, optimized for Denmark’s moderate solar irradiation and low-temperature conditions. System design is based on a 1500V DC architecture, allowing for reduced system losses, improved LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy), and minimized balance of system (BOS) costs.
Each plant is being constructed with fixed-tilt ground-mounted systems set at a 25° tilt angle, ensuring optimal annual energy production while minimizing mechanical stress and maintenance requirements. The supporting structures are manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance critical for Denmark’s humid and coastal environments.
