What tasks await you?

  • Project Planning and Preparation: You'll develop and manage commissioning schedules, detailing timelines, resources, and task assignments to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time.
  • Site Supervision & Testing: You'll oversee on-site commissioning activities, ensuring proper installation, system integrity, and compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Testing and Validation: You'll supervise electrical tests, making sure all equipment operates within performance criteria and complies with safety standards.
  • Grid Code Compliance: You'll conduct tests to ensure the installation meets connection standards and regulations.
  • Protocol Development: You'll create and manage commissioning protocols, ensuring that procedures are well-documented and followed by the team.
  • Documentation and Reporting: You'll maintain thorough records of test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions. You'll prepare and submit all necessary commissioning documentation to stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Problem Solving: You’ll identify and resolve any technical or procedural issues that arise during commissioning, working with suppliers and contractors to find solutions.
  • Training & Handover: You’ll provide training for operations and maintenance teams on plant procedures and ensure proper handover documentation is in place.
  • Safety and Compliance: You’ll make sure that all commissioning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, enforcing safety protocols across the team.

A perfect match will be someone who:

  • holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field
  • has at least 2 years of experience in commissioning photovoltaic plants
  • demonstrate excellent knowledge of PV systems, inverters, transformers, SCADA systems, and grid code compliance testing
  • is familiar with commissioning protocols, industry standards, and safety regulations
  • knowledge/experience/accreditations in operating MV equipment (CBs, relays), transformers, inverters as desired plus
  • knowledge/experience/accreditations in setting up, configuring, starting up and operating of SCADA systems, mainly PPC (power plant controllers) - mandatory
  • Proven knowledge of all basic EU grid code rules and settings, operational parameters, communication protocols as desired plus
  • communicates effectively in English
  • has excellent organizational and communication skills
