What tasks await you?

Environmental Management


• Lead environmental permitting and approvals processes
• Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMP)
• Oversee Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and mitigation measures
• Monitor biodiversity, water, soil, and environmental impacts
• Ensure proper waste management and handling of hazardous materials

Social Management


• Develop and implement Stakeholder Engagement Plans (SEP)
• Maintain relationships with local communities, authorities, and project stakeholders
• Manage project grievance mechanisms and social mitigation measures
• Monitor social risks and support conflict prevention activities

ESG Compliance & Project Support


• Ensure compliance with IFC Performance Standards, EBRD requirements, and ESG obligations
• Integrate ESG principles across all project phases
• Conduct site inspections and support EPC teams regarding E&S compliance
• Coordinate audits, corrective actions, and reporting activities
• Prepare documentation for lenders and external stakeholders

Requirements and skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geography, Social Sciences, or related field

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure, construction, or renewable energy projects

• Experience with large-scale projects (preferably 100+ MW)

• Strong knowledge of Romanian and EU environmental legislation

• Experience with international standards (IFC, EBRD, Equator Principles)

• Proven experience working with authorities and local communities

• Experience in photovoltaic or renewable energy projects is highly preferred

• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

• Fluency in English and Romanian
